Matthew Flores- RV Driver and Stylist
Matthew is Barbara Goodson's son who holds a commercial driver's license and drives the RV mobile hair salon for Have Shears Will Travel. He is currently a student barber at Modern Barber College. He holds a degree in International Business and speaks fluent Spanish. He is married to Chinelo who is a licensed Nurse Practitioner for Texas Children's Hospital. They have a one year old son named Sterling who is the joy of their life together.
Oenita Tatum- Stylist
My name is Oenita Tatum. I was born and raised in California. In 1982 I received my cosmetology license and hold both a CA and TX license. I love cutting hair and working for Have Shears Will Travel charity where it gives me a chance to share the love of Jesus as I cut and style hair for those of us less fortunate. I am blessed to have 5 grown children and 9 grandchildren.
Sindy- Volunteer Stylist
Sindy is from Honduras. She has two beautiful children and loves her profession. She has been a hairstylist by heart and that is what has made her break every barrier in her life. Her true honesty and love for humanity has given her the talent to give back to the community.
Brandon Lee-Volunteer Stylist
Brandon Lee is a volunteer stylist that assists Have Shears Will Travel with Mayor Sylvester Turner's Re-Entry program, Open Door Mission men's shelter and initiating other shelters in Houston where our services could be well received such as Casa Juan San Diego and Star of Hope women/children shelter on Dowling Street.
Margot- Volunteer Stylist
Margot is from Mexico. She had been a stylist by heart for 15 years. Her career has helped her get her Bachelors in business and become a Business/ Medical Spanish interpreter. She is dedicated to her community, family, and friends. She is a yogi by heart and soul.
Daveta Ledlum- Stylist
My name is Daveta Ledlum. I have been a stylist for over 7 years with a passion for this field that is beyond measure. I enjoy working with Have Shears Will Travel part-time helping those less fortunate with their self-esteem. Currently, I am employed by Great Clips where I've worked for 2 years. My Hobbies include making people feel amazing and good about themselves. My motto in life is if you look and feel good you can do great in everything putting God first priority and everything else will fall into place.
Michael McNeil- Webmaster of Have Shears Will Travel from Dayton, Texas is a Technology Specialist at Galena Park ISD. He has been a teacher for 16 years. He studied and received a Masters in Education from the University of Houston in 2010. He is a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church. Michael has been married for 15 years to Vicky and they have a son named Logan together.

Bijou Ledlum -Stylist
Bijou Ledlum is a professional hair stylist at Josephine's Day Spa and Salon and graduate of the Aveda Institute in Houston. Her hobbies are helping others see the God in themselves. Her motto is good better best never without rest till your good is better and your better's best. With God all things are possible. She enjoys serving with Have Shears Will Travel.
Bekki Long- Volunteer Stylist
I'm am 41 years old and have 4 great kids. I have lived in the Houston area for 10 years. I work in a salon part time in Mont Belvieu and have been licensed for 23 years. God has put it on my heart to serve others. What a better way to serve than to put my talent to work making people feel beautiful! I am blessed to be a part of the 'Have Shears will Travel'. Although I can only offer 1 day a month, I would love to be able to give more. I’m excited to see what God has in store for me on this journey!
Rachel Taylor- Marketing and Presentations
Rachel grew up in Kingwood and now lives in the Kingwood area with her husband and her 2 (very active) children. She is a master’s prepared healthcare executive with a demanding schedule and a special love for photography and a flare for marketing. With over 10 years corporate marketing and communication experience, along with a professional specialty in presentations, Rachel is able to volunteer her time to HSWT by helping spread the word of this wonderful ministry! She is an active member of Christ the King Episcopal church, volunteers in the community and enjoys her duties as “team mom” of her son’s baseball team.
